How does Sculptra work?

Sculptra is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist.

The specialist injects treatment into the appropriate dermal plane where strands of collagen support your skin’s structure. Over time, Sculptra helps the body reproduce lost collagen.1,2,4 The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.

How many treatments are required?

On average, a series of three treatment sessions over the course of a few months may be needed. The number of injections at each session will vary, depending on the degree of correction needed and the treatment plan determined by you and your specialist.

How soon will I see results?

The results from Sculptra are more gradual compared to the instant gratification from dermal fillers. You can except to see results 8 weeks after treatment and full results 3 months after your final treatment.
