Swelling and warmth are common and can be eased with cold compresses or ice packs, along with sleeping in an upright position. The warm feeling generally goes away before the swelling.

At first, as you’re getting back into a routine after Moxi laser treatment, you should avoid makeup. Give your face time to adjust. We recommend waiting 24 hours before applying makeup.

Take gentle care of your face by avoiding exfoliants or skin care brushes. When you wash your face in the morning and at night, use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser. You only need your hands to lightly pat the cleanser along your face and neck.

Try not to get any shampoo on the treated areas, and if you use a cloth or towel on your face, make sure it’s soft.

Moxi requires minimal downtime. Redness and irritation may persist 3-5 days. For some patients, any sign of laser skin treatment disappears within a week. It depends on the intensity and the way your skin responds to treatment.

If you’re treating your face with the Moxi laser, the sandpaper texture may last up to two weeks.This is a normal response as your body regenerates fresh skin and flakes away the treated skin. Many patients choose to get a diamond glow treatment to get rid of any remaining MENDS on the skin.
